National Stationery Show

Later this week we will head over to the Jacob Javits Center for the National Stationery Show beginning Sunday, May 17th. It's sure to be a gorgeous show filled with terrific people and products.  We are honored to be spotlighted within this year's Best New Product Awards which recognizes new and innovative merchandise. The coveted Awards are presented in eight categories and are considered a distinguished honor within the social stationery industry.  Our SAVOY and AVEO papers will be displayed within the ECO-Chic category.  Come find us in booth #2578 in the Supply Side of the Show to take a closer look at all of our beautiful papers.

SAVOY is made from 100% pure cotton which is a byproduct of the textile industry.  Though originally designed for letterpress stationery, SAVOY also offsets and digitally prints beautifully. Its strong formulation, yet soft flexibility allow for strikingly clean and crisp folding, blind embossing, foil stamping and engraving.

AVEO in White and Brown Sugar

AVEO (A Very Environmental Offering) is a tree free paper manufactured from 90% sugarcane stalks after they are crushed to extract their juice to make sugar. This sustainable and renewable resource, also known as Bagasse, has traditionally been burned or placed in a landfill. The balance 10% of AVEO is a combination of linen and hemp which are both left over from the textile industry. This material would also end up in a landfill if it were not used to make AVEO. The linen and hemp are added for increased strength and better foldability. Because AVEO paper is made from mostly sugarcane pulp, sometimes small particles of the stalk can be seen and is to be expected. Although usually very clean, sometimes small brown spots or brown fibers can appear in White Sugar and sometimes small white spots can appear in Brown Sugar. AVEO is recyclable, biodegradable, acid free and elemental chlorine free.
